Searching for numbers, do I enter the , or leave it out?

Hi all,

I'm trying to search for a number in the thousands on a big
spreadsheet... Do I include the , e.g. 5,000 or just enter 5000?

Thanks!

Set option to look in values if you include the comma.

Set option to look in formulas if you do not include the comma.

Leave out the commas. They are a formatting option, not part of the value.
