Text alignment issues in Excel 2007

In Excel 2007, I have selected the alignment option of General for Horizontal
and Bottom for Vertical and 0 indention. However, my text keeps indenting.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Stephanie

Check that you don't also have Accounting format chosen, without the
Currency symbol.
