How do you customize/edit an icon for macro use in Excel 2007?
 

In Excel 2007, there does not appear to be a method to edit the icons that
can be assigned to macros. Has anybody found a path in Excel 2007 into the
edit button feature of Excel 2003? Alternately, is there an add-in for
editing icons/buttons?

If you run your macro from the QAT then you can change the icon but not add other icons to the list

Search the Office site for the

Office 2007 Custom UI Editor

Also, there are some 3rd party tools for editing the Ribbon, and Visual
Studio Tools for Office has a means for editing the ribbon, too.

It appears to be much more work to edit the Ribbon than ever it was to add
custom icons to the toolbar.
