pivot table formatting issues

Whenever I refresh my pivot table, I lose all custom formatting. For
example:

I've changed a column of dates to be mm-yy, but upon refresh, i get
3-4 diff date formats.
Also, my format borders is all wacky.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

You need to format the number by right clcking on on of the dates and then
selecting Field Settings - Number. That formatting should stick. I'm not too
sure what you mean about borders but have you tried using the AutoFormatting
that comes with pivot tables. that makes everything look spiffy...

Open Properties for that Pivot Table and uncheck AutoFormat checkbox.
