Versions - Is it available in Excel?

Hoping that someone can help me out.
In Microsoft Word (v. 2003) there is a function called "Versions" that I use
all the time. Is there a similar function in Excel?

Thanks so much for your help.

Use =INFO("release")
XL 2003 is release 11.0; XL 2007 is 12.0; the next version will be 14.0 (who
is superstitious in Redmond?)
best wishes

Not really, you can create the effect using save As.
