How to make View Fit Selection work?
First, I Autofit a set of columns. Then I select the columns and do
View Fit Selection. Often, some of the columns are no longer wide enough. And if I subsequently Autofit the columns, the columns often no longer fit within the view. Catch-22! I work around the problem by doing the following. First, I Autofit the columns. Then I select the columns __plus__ one (or two) more column(s), and I do View Fit Selection. Then I Autofit the columns again. Is there a better way to make View Fit Selection work? |

I use your workaround with just a single column--I make it as skinny as I can.
Then I don't worry if it gets chopped a bit. " wrote: First, I Autofit a set of columns. Then I select the columns and do View Fit Selection. Often, some of the columns are no longer wide enough.
