I have a fairly wide cell but the text is short. I wish to underline the
TEXT ONLY but not the entire cell. Can that be achieved?

Underline Text only

You can double click on the cell to place it in Edit mode and then highlight
the text you want to underline and press Ctrl + U

Hi Rawle,

Don't use borders, use the big U for underline on the formatting toolbar.
It's next to I for Italic and B for Bold, right next to the font style box.
