Protect Sheet - Allow formatting - On MAC
I'm assisting a client (who uses exclusively Mac's - so Excel-Mac Ver)
They have a protected sheet - The file was last saved by me on my PC version where I was aked to expand there editing rights from only the 2 basic settings (on tht PC) of Select locked cells and Select Unlocked cells to (on the PC) Format cells, Format Rows and Format columns. These last three changes didn't get set (internally) when they loaded it. When I instructed them to go to Tools, Protection.. Protect Sheet... << there dialog box doesn't show the long list of options that appear on the PC version. Where does one go <<on the MAC to Allow Formatting of cells, rows and columns?? Also, Under there Preferences (PC's Tools, Options) they have the Move selections after enter set to DOWN but it only works for the Enter/ Return Key - not the Enter/Return key on the Numeric Pad. How would they change to numberic Pad enter key to also move down versus Across to the RIGHT as it is doing at present? TIA, Jim May |
