Protect part of pivot table
I want to protect the Page field in a pivot table and have tried leaving the
Page field cells status as locked and unlocking the other fields within the pivot table and then protecting the sheet, but it seems to protect the entire pivot table. My guess is that I will have to run a macro to allow user to unprotect the sheet to refresh the data the protect it again, but thought I would double-check here first. Thanks! -- Thanks! Dee |

That's correct. You'll have to unprotect the worksheet so you can
refresh the pivot table. dee wrote: I want to protect the Page field in a pivot table and have tried leaving the Page field cells status as locked and unlocking the other fields within the pivot table and then protecting the sheet, but it seems to protect the entire pivot table.
