Creating shortcuts for a database between two pages

Hi!

I'm not a pro at Excel, but I know this can be done (I had someone create
something similar at work a couple years ago).

I want to create a document for weight management. I have all the food
items on a second spreadsheet with information such as protein, carbs,
calories... I want the first spreadsheet to be a daily menu in which I could
type in a code and the information on that product would appear and
automatically calculate my daily totals....

Can this be done?

Sounds like your request can be done. It is just so vague that nobody can
really answer the question. A simple formulas will probably meet your
requirements, but it could be more complicated and require a macro. Can't
tell from the limited information.
