Can't find the properties in a Combo Box
I'm trying view the properties for some Combo Box(s) in an existing
spreadsheet. I've right-clicked on the control and no shortcut appears, so I believe that its an active-x control. But when I open the Control Toolbox, select design mode, and then right-click on the control, no shortcut menu appears. I know where the range is that the drop-downs are referencing. I just wan't to see how they're doing the referencing. Also, There is no protection on the sheet nor workbook. Thanks |
Can't find the properties in a Combo Box
Right click on top of the spreadsheet by the icons (in the gray area).
Add a check mark next to "Control Toolbox" (if there isn't one). Left click on the Icon that says "Design Mode" it has a ruler, pencil, & "triangle thing". Now right click on your combo box for the short-cut menu that has properties in it -- Mike Q. "tbmarlie" wrote: I'm trying view the properties for some Combo Box(s) in an existing spreadsheet. Thanks- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - I had already tried that and it didn't work. I was wondering what other options I could try. When the design mode is selected, shouldn't it the appearance of the worksheet change, because mine currently isn't? It appears that the worksheet is not changing to design mode when I click the design icon which is evident from my being able to add characters to the cell that the combobox is attatched to. |
