I am using Data Validation and allowing the user (me) to select a
value from a Drop Down list. This part works fine; the list is alphabetized, and the values are easy to find. The issue is that the allowed values list is about 450 values long. And scrolling through the list takes longer than I would like. I can use ALT-(arrow keys) to get the list to drop down, and then use Page- Up, Page-Down and the up and down arrows to navigate through the list. Ideally, I'd like to be able to type in the first few letters of the value and jump to that part of the list. Is there an easy way to achieve to this functionality? |
