Hi there,
Sometimes the formula in the cell dissapears eg
=890/1000

I get 0.89 instead. but I would like to see the formula so I can refer to in
the future. Do you know what can be wrong?

The formula is still there. When you select the cell, you can see it in the
formula bar.

The formula is not in the formula bar any longer. It dissapears for not
reason. Sometimes it is, sometimes is not

Yes, actually. Why is that relevant?


If the "Hidden" property of the cell is True, the formula will not be
visible in the formula bar while the worksheet is protected. If it is
unprotected, the formula is visible. Protect the sheet and the formula is
not visible.
