You're not very clear what your intentions are.
If you want to limit the type of data a user can input, Date Validation and choose from different data types. If you're creating a form and want to lock all label and formula cells, and allow input only in selective cells, select those cells you want unlocked, Format Cells Lock uncheck. Hi,
Select the range and type a value in the cell and press enter to move to each cell within the range without using the mouse. You can also press Ctrl and select all those cells where you want to enter value and then press enter each time you enter value without using the mouse.
