Save as the Macro Protected File
Hi,
I have a Excell File which contains a "Locked for Viewing" Macro/Code. I want the a group of users to update the same and send me back where they can use the macro but restricted to view or edit in Macro.... Is this possible? The Code is not digitally signed.. Help me out if is there the solution for the same Thanks Muk |

The users should be able to update the worksheets even if the macro is locked
for viewing. Or are you saying that the users should be able to edit the macro code? Muk wrote: Hi, I have a Excell File which contains a "Locked for Viewing" Macro/Code. Save as the Macro Protected File
Dave,
User is not able to save as different name. Remainning things works fine While saving the file it gives message that you need to unprotect the code and then try to save. What version of excel are you using?
And are you trying to save as a normal excel workbook (*.xls) or an earlier version of excel--or some other file format? Muk wrote: Dave, User is not able to save as different name.
