Deleting Cells or Rows of Cells
In the Excel spread sheet when you right click on the left hand column with
the running consecutive numbers, there is meant to be a delete option. I want to know how to get the delete option onto the list of options when you right click to delete a cell or row of cells. Can any one help me? Thank you. |

I use xl2003 and when I rightclick on a cell, I get a "Delete..." option.
You don't? What version of excel are you using? Just to add to this.
When I right-click on a row header I get a delete option. Note it has a different funtion than when you right-click on a cell and delete. The former immediately deletes the row. The latter gives you options. On Tue, 21 Aug 2007 19:36:53 -0500, Dave Peterson wrote: I use xl2003 and when I rightclick on a cell, I get a "Delete..." option. You don't? Refer to the topic "Delete cells, rows, or columns" in the Microsoft Excel 2003 online help.
