set default page setups for insert sheet in workbook

I have a workbook that I add nearly identical worksheets to each week. Is
there a way to, for only this workbook, change the page setup defaults, so
that the margins, headers, footers etc are set the same as the rest of the
tabs in the workbook, when I instert a new sheet?

Thanks,
Diane

I think the easiest thing to do would be to make include a worksheet in that
workbook set up exactly the way you want.

Then just copy that worksheet and use that copy instead of inserting a new
sheet.

You could actually create another workbook with a single worksheet set up
perfectly, then insert that worksheet--but that sounds too clumsy compared to
just keeping the template worksheet in the workbook.

I'd protect the template worksheet:
tools|protection|protect sheet
without a password.

Then I wouldn't have to worry about overwriting that template--yep, it'll have
to be unprotected before you start (probably).

I forgot about that copy function when you right click the tab. It is habit
to do a select all copy / paste (which doesn't copy over the page setup
properties).

I knew it had to be something simple.
Thanks for the quick response.
