Use Speech in Excel
I have an Excel file that contains links to another Excel source file. The
file is looking at certain cells in the source and populates cells based on the presence of 0 (Empty String) or 1 (Message) in the source file cells that I'm monitoring. All this is working. However, I want to have the speech mechanism activate any time that this secondary file is updated or changed. I would not think that this would be terribly difficult - but it is stumping me how I can accomplish this. Finally, please keep in mind that this is a "Real Time" application where things can change by the second. Also I am only interested in having the speech work on the Messages - but Announcements of the empty string (0 result) should not be an issue. In advance, thank you for any ideas or advice you can recommend. -- Message posted via OfficeKB.com http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forums.a...excel/200708/1 |
