excel size limit?
I have a computer with 2gigs memory and over 3Ghz cpu, but when I have a
70mb spreadsheet open and I then try to simultaneously open a 50mb speadsheet I get a window message that says I do not have the available resources to do so. Might this be an excel limit, or something going on with the OS? |

The size of the document is not what Excel needs to use into the PC memory.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and see the amount of memory that Excel is using. Unless you have Excel 2007, I believe that the maximum amount Excel can use is 1 GB. Stephane Quenson.
