Multiple "IFAND"
I have 5 columns (D,E,F,G,J). D+E=F. F+G=J. I also have a cell named "HCL".
If J is GE "HCL" & both E & G = zero, then formula should return "High". If J is GE "HCL" but either E or G is not equal to zero, then formula should return "High_Unfinished". Otherwise it should return "Low". My formula is; "IF(AND(J4=high_cost_limit,E4=0,G4=0),"High",IF(A ND(J4=high_cost_limit,E4<0,),"High_Unfinished",I F(AND(J4=high_cost_limit,G4<0,),"High_Unfinished ","Low")))". It is only retuning "High" or "Low" but not "High_Unfinished". any ideas where I'm going wrong? |
Multiple "IFAND"
The reason it isn't working is because you've got a couple extra commas in
there. Following each of the <0 sections. Take out those commas and it will work. Also, you could use an OR function to combine your two "High_Unfinished" sections. Like this: =IF(AND(J4=high_cost_limit,E4=0,G4=0),"High",IF(A ND(J4=high_cost_limit,OR(E4<0,G4<0)),"High_Unfi nished","Low")) HTH, Elkar "pjk@boro" wrote: I have 5 columns (D,E,F,G,J). D+E=F. F+G=J.
