Separating names
Can a column of names (last name, first name) be split into two columns, one
for the last nams and the other for the first name? |
Separating names
Assume that the name is cell A1.
For first name type this formula in Cell B1 =MID(A1,1,FIND(" ",A1,1)-1) For last name type this formula in Cell C1 =MID(A1,FIND(" ",A1,1)+1,LEN(A1)) The above formula assumes that there is only 1 blank/space between first and last name. -- Pranav Vaidya VBA Developer PN, MH-India If you think my answer is useful, please rate this post as an ANSWER!!
