In the past, when I have keyed text into both the search and replace fields,
those 2 values "saved" so that when I opened a different file and used CTRL+F, the same 2 text items appeared. For some reason, today, those 2 values keep disappearing. I am not closing out of Excel and then re-opening it (i.e., I'm not creating a "new session"). Thank you for your help. |

REVISED - I posted this for a colleague, and she has now informed me that she
accidentally WAS closing Excel entirely (opening a new session). Tell your colleague to forget about those 2 values and to remember to save
the new file before closing it. Tim "Mary" wrote: REVISED - I posted this for a colleague, and she has now informed me that she accidentally WAS closing Excel entirely (opening a new session).
