Bottom Double Border in Toolbar- Excel 2003
I have added a button to a Toolbar to do a Bottom Double Border formatting
when clicked. However, it does not work and only puts a single border line. If I have a Borders button in the Toolbar where I can select the Bottom Double Border, it works. If using the Borders button and I select DRAW BORDERS from the dropdown and then select Bottom Double Border, the the Bottom Double Border button (which did not work previously) works. But, when I close Excel or the file, this is lost. |

Hi,
If you want to draw a border directly from the tool bar, Do the following: 1. In the Formatting Toolbar, click the Borders icon arrow and then select Draw Borders. The Border Toolbar is diaplayed. 2. Click the line style list and select Double lines. 3. In the Border toolbar, click the Draw border lsit arrow. - Draw border or Draw border grid. 4. Draw on the worksheet. Note: You cannot directly draw a border with line style double by just clicking the Borders icon in the Formatting toolbar. You must slecta cell and then select border line style Format-Cell-Border-Line Style-Borders-OK Challa Prabhu "F W Green" wrote: I have added a button to a Toolbar to do a Bottom Double Border formatting when clicked.
