Autocorrect

Hello, All!

I am using Excel 2002. Does autocorrect for Excel have to be
exactly the same as for Word? In Word, I find it convenient to
have "pi" automatically replaced by the mathematical symbol "π"
but in Excel it is a small nuisance to cancel the autocorrect
with space CTRL-z when I want to use PI(). It's not a major
concern and I do get warned by the "#NAME?" message appearing.

I have just been reminded of a possibility: to spell "pi" for
autocorrection as something like "py". Maybe I'll give that a
try.
