Excel - 3D coordinates, how can I rotate about an axis?

I have a series of points which represent a 3D line. I would like to break
the line at some co-ordinate and rotate the remaining portion about an axis.
Is there any macros/add-ons to do this? If not, any suggestions on how to
create one?
