Disable Delete
Dear NG:
Is there any way to prevent the use of Delete in a workbook. I would like to disable Delete rather than remove it from the menus. Edit Delete and right click Delete, for lack of a better word deletes not only the data but also the named ranges in a given worksheet. As anyone can imagine, this is not an acceptable option. Clear Contents would be the preferred method. Protecting the sheets Data protects the named ranges but doesn't allow for data manipulation so that's not really an viable option either. I want the users to be able to add and remove data but NOT delete the named ranges. Thanks for any help with this issue. -Kevin |
