Deactivate "Clipboard Window"?

Excel 2003

Often when I copy something a window comes up on the right hand side of the
screen showing my clipboard with the most recent copy commands & gives me
the ability to paste any of them. This sounds great in theory but I need
the screen real-estate. How do I turn off this function? Also I get a
warning when I enter the number one in a text formatted cell, I would like
to turn this off also. I have looked under options but can't seem to find
the right command.

Thank in advance... Bob

I have the following set-up (click on Options button) and I never see this
annoying pane anymo
Show office clipboard automatically: unchecked
Show office clipboard when Ctrl-C pressed twice: checked
Collect without showing office clipboard: unchecked
The last two options are also unchecked

Hi,

Turn off the Office Clipboard

1. On the Clipboard task pane, click Options below the task pane.
2. Clear the Show Office Clipboard Automatically check box.
3. Clear the Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl+C Pressed Twice check box.

Note To copy items to the Clipboard while it is turned off, select the
Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard check box.
