The color in excel does not show up in the cell on screen
 

When I use the color cell buttons it does not show up? When I go to print
preview it only shows black and white and not the color I chose?

If the high contrast setting is turned on you won't see the fill colour.

I your default printer a color printer?
I couldn't see color print preview on my last new computer
(with XP) until I loaded a printer.
