formatting cells for time
Thanks for the response that I received from Stefi, and I apologise for being
a bit "thick", but after I formatted/custom and entered mm:ss.00 into the type box and clicked on OK, what is the correct way to enter the data so the it will register that it is a time ie do I use forward slashes (/), or dots (.) or colons (:), or semi colon (;) Thanks for your help and my apologies again Terrie |

Enter as the format:
03:54.76 with the dot in the formula bar the above will appear as 00:03:35 (hh:mm:ss) with the seconds rounded.
