WPEXCEL.XLS file always starts up (blank) when Excel opens
Can anyone help me resolve how this is occurring, and what I need to do to
stop it from happening. Evey time I start Excel, whether I open an existing file or just start Excel, it always opens up a file named WPEXCEL.XLS that is a blank file. I realize this is mainly a nuisance, but I would like to stop having to close this file every time I use Excel. I started noticing this file after I had done a side by side comparison of two separate files (I was manually comparing them), and my system blue screened (due to issues with the aircard... this happens more often than I would like). Any thoughts or suggestions? -- Thanks for your time! Mark |

Look in your start folder, it might be either WPEXCEL.XLS or WPEXCEL.XLT
Do a simple file search from windows and when you find it (make sure it looks in hidden folders as well) either delete it or move it -- Regards, Peo Sjoblom "Mark" wrote in message ...
