restrict columns that have auto filter
 

Is it possible to only have the autofilter on 1 column? I have offices in
coumn A and then dates in B through Z. The users do not need to filter on B
through Z but do on A - is there a way to only show the autofilter on column
A ?

Just make sure that only Column A is selected when you turn on the AutoFilter.

The one problem you might run into by doing this is if you use the
AutoFilter to sort your data. By default, only column A would be sorted, but
Excel should prompt you whether to include adjacent data or not.
