Updating Chart
 

Hi,

I have a chart that is based on a set of information being fed by vlookups
of a pivot chart... I know it may be the long way around to accomplish what I
need, but I dont know of any other way.

My issue is that on a few of my charts, I would like to further filter out
data like a pivot table would (page fields). Is there a way to have a
dropdown menu on the chart page update the pivot table's page field? I
cannot go straight from the pivot table into the chart because I will not
always have all the data i need to show (for instance, i might not always
have a record for Annuities, but need to show a 0 value for the group). For
that reason, I have created a table full of vlookups to reference the pivot
table created from the raw data.

If I can just find a way to automatically add the filter to the page field
on the original pivot table, the end result talbe that it feeds should
automatically update, as well as the chart.
