Open Excel 2003 from desktop into 2007
 

I just upgraded from Excel 2003 to Excel 2007. Now whenever I double click
an Excel 2003 file on my desktop instead of the file openin in Excel 2007 it
tries to install Excel 2003. I have browsed to the 2007 executable and it
still tries to install Excel 2003. Suggestions please?

If you re-register Excel 2003 I think it will grab the associations back for
XLS, etc., files.

Go to Start-Run and enter the full path to Excel 2003 like this and run it:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\Excel.exe /regserver

There is a space before the slash of /regserver.
