How do I reference a cell in another document in Excel formulas?
 
I am trying to create a formaula that references values in another excel
document. Does anyone know ow to do this?

Try this:-

=[Book2]Sheet1!$A$1

one way to verify the format you need is to enter = and then goto the other
workbook and select the cell of interest

With both workbooks open.................

In target book type an = sign in a cell.

Switch to source wookbook and select a cell.

Hit Enter key. A link has been formed.
