cell auto format
Hi Greg,
why dont you try to use the conditional formatting feature of excel? First, you select cell A2 then in the menu bar, you just have to go to Format -- Conditional Formatting. Second, in the first drop down arrow, choose "Formula Is". Third, in the textbox type there "=B2="A" (whatever value you want) Fourth, you click the format button on the lower right and format it the way you want A2 will appear. Fifth, you u still want to add another condition, click the add button and repeat steps 2 to 5 Sixth, click OK button However, this one will only work if you only have 3 conditions. if you have more than 3 i think its much better if you're going to use macro for that. Hope this one will help you! ^_^ "Greg" wrote: If i have something in block B2, i want something in block A2 to change to a certain font and fill color. I.E.
