I received an attachment in PDF format; I would like to fill it out.
Can I do this if I transfer the document to clipboard? How do I get to
"clipboard"

I am not sure if there is an answer using Excel, but this free programme
might solve your problem:

Download PDF-XChange PDF Viewer from:

www.docu-track.com/home/prod_user/pdfx_viewer

It is an excellent PDF viewer and editor - try the typewriter function.

Hi,

No. You cannot you Clipboard feature.

If you have received the PDF file as attachment, then you can use this file
as the source file in Adode Acrobat for creating forms by using the Forms
features.
