Fill down formula not cell content
This is really frustrating! When I use ctrl D to fill a formula down several
rows, the formula does NOT repeat - only the value of the originial cell is filling down. It ahs always worked correctly in the past. I'm sure this is a simple setting, but I have tried looking for it for about an hour on the web and elsewhere. Please help! I am using Excel 2003. Thanks, Kevin |

You can copy the cell and past it as a formula

Byron:
Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't have use of the Paste Special for some reason. Anyone other ideas? Typing these 300 rows would take forever..... I did discover I had a macro within another unopened workbook. I deleted the workbook and still have the same problem. Do macros even work globally? Thanks, Kevin "Byron720" wrote: You can copy the cell and past it as a formula "kmwhitt" wrote: This is really frustrating!
