Pasting copied AutoFiltered cells in Excel2007
In earlier versions of Excel, pasting copying AutoFiltered cells into another
workbook/worksheet results only in the displayed cells pasted. However, performing the same commands results in the entire cells copied to the new workbook/sheet. How can this be done in Excel2007? |

There have been a couple of posts that describe the same situation.
But when those posters go back to verify that behavior, it seems to change to what you want. Can you test it once more? If it still fails, you can always use: Ctrl-g (or F5, same as Edit|Goto in the old menu system) special visible cells only Then copy|paste. Ok, got it using the F5 option. How about using the mouse? I copied some
AutoFiltered cells and rightclicked on a new worksheet, there appears to be no such commands that pastes only the visible cells. Thanks. In earlier versions of excel, you could customize a toolbar to show an icon that
would limit your selection to just the visible cells in that current selection. Maybe you can add that equivalent icon to the QAT. Look for Select Visible cells somewhere(!). (I don't use xl2007 enough to know where it is and I don't have xl2007 running on this pc.) LYH888 wrote: Ok, got it using the F5 option. How about using the mouse?
