Auto Sum
Hi I have created a worksheet with the unused cells hidden. i want to do an
auto sum but the total does not show. how do i get the total to show on the last cell but not on the hidden one Thanks |

If the SUM cell is in a hidden row, it will remain hidden.

If you're selecting the cells to be summed, then clicking the Autosum button, and the very next row or column is hidden, then indeed the automatically-built SUM formula cell will be hidden. You can use another method. Select the cell in which to have the SUM formula. Click Autosum. It will guess which cells you want to sum, showing marching ants around them. If that guess isn't correct, select the correct cells (drag through them), then press Enter. If it is correct, just press Enter.
