Default Row and Column Strikethrough

Why are my Row and Column Headers shown with a Strikthrough each of the
letters and numbers?
I can email a screen shot in PDf if anyone would like to see.

Use Format / Style, select the normal style and click the modify button.
Change the font formatting to something other than strikethrough.
