autofilter
 

hi community

i created an autofilter list from a cell range
and
example of the list of label ....

apple
banana
ciku
durian

however when using the "Custom" at the Autofilter, some of the name do not
appear,

can someone enlighten me on what is wrong ?

Do you have over 1000 items in the list, if not did you select the whole
list before applying the filter?

yes! the list is over 1000 items and yes! i selected all the list item before
applying the list feature!!!!

and

when i set as a Pivot Table field list, the item that is "missed" out, did
appear in the Pivot Table display...

so what is happening to the custom list...

autofilter pre excel 2007 can only display up to 1000 items
