Make excel insert links
 

Is there a way to make excel automatically change items with the @ and the
http:// symbol to hyperlinks? Like email addresses and webpage addresses?

Since Excel 2000 that is how it works. Is that not the case for you? Which
version of Excel?|:)

Version 2002. When I enter a link via copy/paste, it does not make it a
link. I have to double click on it to turn it into a link.

This is the default action AFAIK but if you press F2 on the cell, then
return, the text will turn into a link.
