Seem to have created a monster. When I type 122 in a cell it displays as 1.22
Any numeric I type ends up with decimal point moved two places to the left
and I can't seem to correct. Is there some obvious formatting that I am
missing?

On the Tools menu, choose Options then the Edit tab. There, uncheck the
"Fixed Decimal" setting.
