In Excel 2007, how can you create a desktop shortcut for a file?

I want to create a desktop shortcut for a frequently used file. In Excel
2007, there is no "send to desktop" feautre like Excel 2003. How do I do
it????

Place the target Excel sheet in your my documents, right click and create a
ICON then right click and send it to the desk top, right click at the desk
top and on the Properties tab (Change Icon) and you get a selection of Icons
-- This is the method I use and I am sure their are others.
