file slow to save
 

I've got a file with a lot of formulae (mainly using INDEX to access other
sheets within the file) that takes a very long time to Save As but a lot less
time to just Save. Calculation is switched to Manual (and I haven't ticked
the box to calculate before saving - though to be honest that doesn't make
much difference to the timings). Any ideas? I've seen a couple of weblinks
others have suggested and have made sure each sheet doesn't have redundant
columns or rows at the end. I'm using Excel 2002/XP.
