horizontal scroll with mouse

Just upgraded from Excel 2003 to 2007. In 2003 I was able to scroll
horizontal with my Microsoft 6000 laser mouse. Not in 2007. Who can help me?

I use a Wireless Laser 6000 mouse and it works fine in Excel 2007 Ultimate
on both Windows XP SP2 and Vista Ultimate. You may need to reset the wheel
setting in the Mouse Control Panel. On the Windows Start menu, choose
Control Panel, then Mouse. In that dialog, choose the "Scrolling" tab and
ensure that "Enable horizontal scrolling with tilt wheel" option is checked.

As usual, you're right. Thank you so much.

Exactly the same problem, exactly the same mouse, but my horizontal scrolling
settings are correct and I still can't scroll horizontally in Excel. The
mouse scrolls perfectly (both ways) in a browser window.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I have the same problem in xcel 2003 with the 6000 laser mouse and my
settings are correct but I still cannot scroll horizontal. Using vista
ultimate. It does scroll in some other programs. Some Microsoft programs
other than xcel do not scroll horizontally.
