Excel 2003 Paste Issue

When I paste in Excel 2003 my spreadsheet is sent to the back and
Internet Explorer 7 is slammed into view..

Is anyone else having this annoying problem?

It's only started recently and I suspect my PC may have contracted
something - any ideas?
