Dropdown pointer is not set to first row
 

Excel 2003; I have a dropdown box based on a list of about 100 items. When
the user selects the dropdown box to choose an item I want the first row in
the list to be displayed; currently the last row is displayed. I've not
seen this posted anywhere else on the web and I've searched for hours - maybe
I'm the only one this has ever happened to....
