creating XY-Plot

Hallo,

I have Problems making an XY-Plot of the Data I have linked.
There are Temperatures from some Weatherstations in the USA,
but if I mark the Cells with the Data, the Diagram shows
only 4 Stations. The last 4 from the list.

The X-Axis should be the Year and the Y-Axis should be
the Temperature in Celsius.

Can anybody help me what I have to do, that ALL Stations
occur in the Diagram?

Hi,

Your xvalues range includes columns A thru L.
Move the cell A4 to A3 and select the range A4:O130 and use the chart wizard
to create you xy-scatter.
This time it should pick up the 14 stations.

Cheers
Andy

check <chart<source data<series and check that the series are actually
selected properly in the X and Y series lists. I have had it take all the
last cell in a series and say that is the title.

If you look at "Source Data" you'll see that you've got your X axis data
series covering columns A to K, whereas it ought to be just column A. You
can edit things manually, but the trick in getting the wizard to get it
right in the first place is to leave the top left-hand cell blank. Delete
the word Jahr from A4, and insert chart again, & it should be right.
