In Excel 2003: I currently have hyperlinks to other Excel spreadsheets. All
of these spreadsheets are stored on a network drive and are utlized by other people in the department. Lately, a dialog box stating cannot open file pops up. After I update the link, it works. But within a few hours to a few days, the link gives me the same dialog box. It didn't used to do this. |

problems can occur if the hyperlink uses a mapped network drive, such as Z:
